Blender foundation announced another open movie project after successful project “Elephants Dream” . The new short film is named as “Peach. If you are an animator and like to join this project you can apply to participate in the team, Last date is June 25th so hurry up.

Blender is a free open source 3D object creator. It is very easy and you can create a 3D art with less experience. I am very attracted with its simple interface. There are many tutorials you can get for blender. Official tutorial and tips can be found at http://www.blender.org/tutorials-help/. Using one of the tutorials am also created a 3D image. There is also a open animation cinema project named elephants dream . Another animation project using blender is plumiferos . There is a gallery for images created using blender. Please download and try it you will surely love it.

The Flock is a browser made using famous Firefox engine. It has lot of features for sharing the content. It has a inbuilt photo sharing manager which by default supports Flickr and photobucket. Also it has a good editor by which we can write, edit and publish our blog content without going to the blog website.

Another one good feature that i like in flock is its RSS news reader. The news reader has a good interface and simple.

It will be better if we are able take the screen shot of the web site without those browser tool bars. Most of the times we need to go for any image editing applications to remove the browser tool bars from our screen shot.

The firefox extension screen grab is a useful tool for avoiding the burden of editing screen shot. You can get the extension from here http://www.screengrab.org/wp-content/versions/screengrab_v0.93.xpi . Download it and install using your Firefox. After installing you can see a small icon in your status bar. You can click on that icon to take the screen shot of current web page.

You will get three options for taking the screen shot. You can take the screen shot of full web page or you can select visible to take the screen shot of part of the site that is now visible in your browser. Also there is another option by which you can take the screen shot of selected part of the web site.

There are more feature include

• Scrollable document save
• Draggable selection
• Copy to clipboard
• Save as JPEG or PNG
• Java or Canvas implementation

Also you can request a feature that you like to see in screen grab extension.
