At the time when i joined the team after the training i saw almost every bodies computer has some funny looking characters popping up. I amazed how they done that. First i thought that its may be some desktop widget. So i searched for gnome widgets to end in nothing. Later one day i asked one guy about the secret behind this, Then he told that these are gaim guification themes and also he gave me the links to download them.

Gaim guifications are toaster popup plugin for Gaim! . You can find more about Guifications at http://plugins.guifications.org/trac/wiki/Guifications also download the themes from http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=92888&atid=676821 . You can download the zipped theme file then unzip it and them place it in .gaim/guifications/themes in your home directory. After placing the theme in that directory take gaim and then Tools–>Plugin–>Guification–>Configure plugin . You can see a pop up window with several tabs, Select themes, You can see the name of the theme that you downloaded and placed in the theme directory check it and close the window. Now you can see the funny character popping up saying your friend is away, idle … you have an im etc …

After passing the training and exam they put me in to the team named teamd ( that is actually named after i joined the team …… there was many suggestions for the name of the team …….. Scorpio platoons etc …….. platoons was suggested by great moideen ( Mohiyadeen Faizal ) my team mate ………….. a man from malappuram ………) . The first 2 days in the team was nightmare for me lot of confusions and mistakes ………. but gradually i settled down ……….. correcting my mistakes and improving myself … The main problem for me was “bugzilla” — the web based interface used to handle the support ticket. The interface is some what complex for me but after 2 or 3 days it become one of my favorite tool . Mostly i loved the quips ( small quotes and humors ) that comes at the top of bugzilla . My team members and admin are very helpful and they clarified my doubts — there may be some commends from kk to make fun of me when ever i done a mistake —

Thus my new team become my favorite one …………. and will remain as it is
